Since we live out in the boonies now we didn’t expect to have any kids knocking on our door this year, so we packed up the crew and headed into town to visit our old neighbourhood.

We carved out all the pumpkins and set them up outside with a big bowl of candy…just incase some kids showed up at our doorstep while we were away Trick-Or-Treating. The kids did a great job on their pumpkins this year. I guess the years of practice is really starting to pay off!

We stopped off at Chris and Lori’s house so the kids could have a chance to scare them. Turns out Chris had setup a dummy on the front step to keep the pesky little children away for the night. It seemed to work well on Brandon since he refused to walk up to the front door when we arrived. The others didn’t seem to mind one bit.
Turns out the dummy was actually Chris in costume. How appropriate!
I guess the spooky little man was correct in thinking something wasn’t quite right with that dummy. Brandon stayed at the edge of the step the entire visit. Chris was just too ugly to look at.
Luckily, he had Batgirl to protect him.
Brandon met up with his friends in town while the rest of us wandered around the neighbourhood collecting sugar.
Looks like the sugar is starting to kick in….time to go home!
